I was born and raised in Newcastle, was married to a Naval Officer while there, had three fine sons, who were all junior representative footballers, and in due course have been blessed with eight lovely grandchildren. We spent two years in Queensland and then came back south as far as Forster Tuncurry. I have now been living in Forster for over twenty years and enjoy my life here. My employment with the Forster Tuncurry Professionals began thirteen years ago and is still a very satisfying occupation. For about thirty years in Newcastle we had our own business as Manufacturers' Agents, mainly in furniture, but also sold push bikes, baby carriages and toys. During this time we travelled thousands of miles covering the Newcastle district, Central Coast, North Coast, North West and Central West of New South Wales.. This experience has been a great help to assist me with all aspects of office procedures and communication with clients Beyond schooling, my further studies included Counselling, including conflict and grief counselling, short story writing, Italian cooking with Italian ladies,and, although I obviously am not practicing, I am a qualified hypnotherapist. My sport was netball for many years, representing Newcastle several times. Also, of course, we followed our sons, not only with football, but several times to their surfboat rowing at several Australian Championships. Our eldest son was grinder on Australia IV during the America's Cup challenge in 1987. That necessitated a holiday trip to Perth! I have travelled overseas several times but our favourite holiday spot on many occasions in the past was at the Great Barrier Reef where we stayed many times. My favourite pastimes currently are reading; socializing(!); family; bike-riding and walking.
